The European Network of Women (ENOW) is a voluntary feminist grassroots organization in the European Community.

EAPN NEWS Belgium and France organise their first joint meeting of people experiencing poverty For the first time ever, the Belgian Anti Poverty Network, Uriopps Champagne-Ardennes and Uriopps Nord-Pas de Calais joined forces to organise their first joint interregional meeting of people experiencing poverty on 19 October in Brussels.
Under the theme “How can I cope with every day life?”, people experiencing poverty, social workers as well as social NGOs representatives shared their experiences at the regional and national levels on four key topics: food, clothing and housing; health care and hygiene; employment, training and mobility; and access to culture, leisure and information.

In November 2001, the chairman of the Nikos Poulatzas Institute in Athens, mr.G Tsiakalos, in who is the Dean of the faculty of Education, in the Aristotelion University of Salonica, gave three lectures against racism. The first lecture dealt with definition of terms in a functional way in order to assist political activity.

This youth festival brought together 11 teachers and trainers, and 30 children aged 11-12 from Greece and Turkey. They learned through sport and art following a method proposed by the European Network of Women of Greece. more
